U.S. Fails to Prosecute Internet Fraud Cases

Ummm, I’m pretty sure I don’t need a think tank to tell me this. Unless this is your first day on the internet…ever, it is fairly obvious that the whole world (not just the U.S.) isn’t doing enough to combat internet fraud. By the way, if it is your first day on the internet, always wear protection.

While Web users drown in spam and fend off scams aimed at stealing their money, U.S. federal and state law enforcement authorities are doing little to resolve what has become a multi-billion-dollar problem, a think tank said on Monday.
