A Look at the DefCon NOC

Wired got a tour of the DefCon convention’s Network Operations Center (NOC) and took some pics for us to look at. Considering the nature of this event, it’s pretty safe to say that this is probably one of the most robust & secure convention networks around.

Defcon's network is put together and run by a group of dedicated volunteers, known as Goons. These red badge sporting Network Goons work hard to make the network robust enough to handle the endless stream of dangerous traffic.
