YouTube Still A Haven For Pirates?
We talk about this from time to time but today, one year since Google promised to curb copyright infringement, News.com is taking YouTube to task on its obvious failure to filter videos. The article included links to copyrighted movie clips that, as of this writing, are still active. Go watch a free movie!
Certainly at this point, it's hard to see much change at YouTube since launching Video ID. Available on the site are literally countless clips from feature films and TV shows produced by small production companies as well as the largest entertainment conglomerates--including Viacom.
