Intel Discontinues 7 Processors
Intel recently released a product change notification (.pdf) announcing the discontinuation of seven processors. On the chopping block are the Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7200, T7600, T5500, T5600, LV L7200 and Celeron M 520 and 530.
Market demand for the Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor, Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor LV and Intel® Celeron® M Processors has shifted to higher performance Intel processors. The products identified in this notification will be discontinued and unavailable for additional orders after the "Last Product Discontinuance Order Date."
