Broadcasters Launch Ads Against Web Device
It looks like the fight over unused airwaves just took a turn for the worse. Broadcasters are taking out ads against the initiative to bring accessible and affordable high speed internet to rural areas via the unused TV spectrum. The National Association of Broadcasters have already stooped to saying that Intel, Google and Microsoft find “system errors, computer glitches and dropped calls tolerable,” imagine what their ads will say.
The National Association of Broadcasters, which is worried about possible interference with TV programming, said TV ads will air in the Washington, D.C. area throughout the week and print ads will run in several Capitol Hill publications.
