EMI Inks Deal With Snocap
While most record companies are complaining about piracy, EMI has made yet another move in an attempt to sell more music. They have signed a deal with Snocap. The move allows for music stores to be added to websites, including social networks like MySpace profiles.
That means stores will appear on the web sites and MySpace pages of EMI artists. Far more interesting, though, is the fact that fans could place MyStores “widgets” on their own sites and MySpace pages, although Snocap would still control sales.
