What’s Under the Ice?

While not tech related, a device that can allow you to see geographical terrain while it’s under huge amounts of ice is certainly worth reading. The inventors hope to use this device to take a peak at Greenland’s terrain in the near future.

Ohio State University scientists and their colleagues will use what they learn from the instrument, dubbed GISMO (for Global Ice Sheet Mapping Orbiter), to determine how global climate change will affect the ice.
