Hynix DDR Shipment Hijacked

What is with all the hijackings lately? First it was a shipment of Xbox 360s, then it was a truckload of processors and now a shipment of DDR from Hynix. Pretty soon we’ll need armored cars just to deliver a shipment of video cards.

The 20 boxes filled with DDR chips were robbed while in transit, with sources saying most of the chips were 400MHz frequency parts. This DDR chips were being delivered to distributors, though ownership of the chips is still unknown.
