CMP Technology announced today the appointment of videogame industry veteran Kathy Schoback to the position of Group Director of the CMP Game Group. The Game Group is the producing organization of the world's largest game industry-only event, the Game Developers Conference, as well as the Austin Game Conference and the industry-leading media Game Developer Magazine and Gamasutra.com, among other notable event and media products. Schoback will be responsible for directing and coordinating all activities of the Group to maximize profitability and growth, and will help set and implement the Group's overall global strategy.
