Wow Accounts Compromised

Being that World of Warcraft has about 7 million subscribers, I’m betting a couple of us play the game and should be aware that there is a Trojan floating about with the sole purpose of stealing your login information, which will undoubtedly lead to a compromising of your account.

World of Warcraft gamers are seeing a rise in the plague of online scammers, with a recently released trojan wreaking havoc on many. Certain websites have been seeded to exploit a vulnerability in Windows and Internet Explorer that loads a trojan onto the system for the sole purpose of stealing account names and passwords from WoW players:

I have been keeping up on this problem since its inception and I can tell you that the verification process that Blizzard is using is rather robust (and really needs to be to protect the users), so please change that password often and be vigilant when surfing.
