PS3 Almost Silent

How about some good PS3 news for a change? The folks at GamePro supposedly went to a developers studio that had a real PS3 (not a dev kit like everyone else has) and the PS3 was virtually silent.

Low and behold the power supply was internal with minimal heat to the unit and no fan noises! (I'm not joking, the thing was freaking mute). Ah, I haven't wanted to dry hump an inanimate object for several years (don't ask, I'm not telling), but that PS3 Test unit was damn sexy.

I was going to be funny and say that the silent PS3s were for the Japanese launch only and that U.S. and European customers would still get loud PS3s but I decided against it. Well..I mean, I guess I said it just now, but I didn’t mean it. You know what I mean.
