The PSP Gets Portable TV

While the name is somewhat deceptive (you’re not getting 51 channels on your PSP) the new Portable TV feature in the 2.71 firmware update is actually pretty cool.

This new version (2.71) makes available a new icon to the PSP interface: Portable TV or P-TV. Users can download video content from So-net (Sony's internet provider and online branch in Japan). Some of the videos are free, others not. This service is starting in June.
