S3 And Club3D:

S3 Graphics and Club-3D today announced the availability of the eagerly anticipated OmniChrome Hi-Def™ multimedia AGP card solution for the PC add-in board market. The Club-3D OmniChrome S4 retail package will include a remote control and feature an unprecedented software bundle that includes InterVideo’s latest revisions of WinDVR™, WinDVD® and WinDVD Creator™ to maximise OmniChrome’s extensive feature set.

Diamond Bundles Eidos:

Diamond Multimedia today announced a partnership with Eidos Inc. to bundle Eidos games with the Diamond Viper and Diamond Stealth graphics accelerator cards. Diamond Viper cards are shipping this week with a three-game bundle including full versions of ³Deus Ex: Invisible War,² ³Hitman 2,² and ³Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness.² In addition to Diamond Viper, selected Diamond Stealth graphic cards include a full version of ³Deus Ex.² Both bundles are included with the graphics accelerator cards to offer enhanced value for customers at no additional cost.

VIA Geared For Gaming:

VIA Technologies, Inc is set to bring its Geared for Gaming tour to London, England with events at ECTS and Leicester Square that will put the spotlight on VIA’s latest cutting edge gaming solutions. Starting today, Wednesday 1st September, VIA will demo high performance Entertainment and Gaming solutions at ECTS 2004 (Booth #2320).

MS Global Education Program:

The project is part of the Partners in Learning Grants Program, an initiative launched by Microsoft in 2003 to help students and teachers around the world gain access to essential computer and training resources. The program, five years in duration, includes more than US$250 million in cash grants from Microsoft to develop curriculum, promote skills assessment, provide technical support, and deliver research funds and resources. Today, programs are running in 67 countries.
