Ohio Sues PeopleSoft:

PeopleSoft may have bitten off more than it can chew when it promised to revamp the Cleveland State University student administration systems in 1996. Naturally, Ohio sued.

The state of Ohio has charged PeopleSoft and its consulting partner with fraud and breach of contract for their role in a software project at Cleveland State University. The attorney general of Ohio, who filed suit Jan. 30 in Ohio state court, seeks combined compensatory and punitive damages in excess of $130 million.
