Frank Azor VP of Alienware Interview

We got the chance to catch up with Alienware's Frank Azor down at PAX 2018 in Australia recently. He was kind enough to sit down with us and give us a 30 minute candid interview about where Alienware came from, and where it is today, and where he expects Alienware to be going in the future.

Frank Azor VP of Alienware Interview

Checking Frank Azor's LinkedIn page tells us that he is Vice President & General Manager Alienware, Gaming and XPS at Dell. We have known Frank for a long time and he surely has a passion for PC gaming. Being the DIY guys that we are when it comes to building enthusiast PC, we likely do not realize what a powerhouse Alienware has become when it comes to "gaming boxes." It was recently exposed that Alienware is now a $3Billion [a year] business. Undoubtedly, Alienware is a juggernaut when it comes to gaming PCs.

John Gatt, a long-time HardOCP contributor, which also worked in the industry for many years, caught up with Frank at a very noisy PAX 2018 in Australia and Frank was nice enough to give us a very lengthy interview.

Frank discusses some history behind Alienware, what exactly a gaming computer is to Alienware, who still builds the best gaming desktop for you, and just how gaming laptops are changing the market, as well as many other things. Where is VR and AR gonig? Frank is a very humble guy and truly a PC enthusiast at heart.

Thanks to Frank for taking time with us!
