AMD moves their new ATI product line further down the spectrum, right before they move up it again. Inside you will find AMD's full presentation of its new graphics cards that reach a very affordable price point.

Introduction

AMD is today kicking off another new series of ATI Radeon HD video cards. These new 3400 and 3600 series of video card are targeted at what most [H] readers see as the low end of the market place. And undoubtedly they are sneaking in at less than $100. Given that most of our readers simply do not get overly excited about these products, we will not be evaluating them for you here today, but we will give you a look at the confidential slide deck that AMD supplied us with to explain these new video cards. That said, we are working on something that we do think you will find exciting and will have it here on our pages very soon.

If you are in the market for a more affordable video card that will give you solid gaming performance while throwing in great HD performance along the way, we suggest you check out the AMD’s ATI Radeon HD 3850 and HD 3870 series of video cards. They fill their target market quite well and do it at a great price.
