Todayآ’s review is our second look at a power supply from a company best known as a case manufacturer who has moved into the power supply branding business over the last couple of years; Cooler Master Co. LTD. Cooler Master is a company that is well known for producing enthusiast computer cases and has been in business for almost 25 years. In addition to cases Cooler Master has product lines for CPU and GPU heatsinks, case fans, various accessories, but what we are interested in today, power supplies. Cooler Masterآ’s entry into the power supply market has been rather mixed with some good products, and some that could use improvement, and today we are reviewing the top-of-the-line power supply in their current آ“Real Power Proآ” series. The Real Power Pro line products range in capacity from 550 watts to 1250 watts with todayآ’s focus being on the Real Power Pro 1250w (RS-C50-EMBA-D2) that Cooler Master markets in conjunction with Enhance.

Enhance Electronics Co. Ltd. was founded over 20 years ago in 1986. While a major power supply OEM Enhance is not nearly as well known to most users as some other OEM's as their core business focus has been outside of the desktop market in areas such as servers, embedded, and telecom markets. However, their products have started to surface in the US consumer realm in the last year or so under the likes of SilverStone, Silverpower, Antec, and now Cooler Master as well as the occasional Enhance branded model. So far the majority of Enhanceآ’s offerings in the US have been below the capacity of the Real Power Pro 1250w, as such this particular unit is of great interest to us today.
