Google Chrome ClickJacking Vulnerability

If you use Google’s Chrome browser you should know that a clickjacking vulnerability has been found. Google is currently working on a fix.

The Google chrome browser is vulnerable to clickjacking flaw. A clickjacked page tricks a user into performing undesired actions by clicking on a concealed link. attackers can trick users into performing actions which the users never intended to do and there is no way of tracing such actions later, as the user was genuinely authenticated on the other page.

Motion Controlled MP3 Player

I really hate to admit this, but I am a sucker for gadgets like this motion controlled MP3 player. Obviously this isn’t for use while you are jogging, but it’d be a cool gift / novelty item. Thanks to Marcus P. for the link.

Google Sets Up Online Broadband Testing Lab

Google has teamed up with two non-profit partners to set up a new broadband testing site. Unfortunately, the site seems to be under heavy load since it launched making it almost impossible to use right now.

The search engine company will provide 36 servers in 12 locations around the world, and will cover the bandwidth costs. Spam Is Back with a Vengeance

Remember the joy you felt back in November after the huge crackdown on spam? Well, the party is over and the spammers are back at it in full force. Lovely.

"As spammers fill the void left by McColo, it's reasonable to anticipate a decreasing rate of growth as spam reaches November 2008 levels," wrote Amanda Kleha of the Google message-security team on the company's blog. "However, since the November levels weren't even the peak for the year, and since spammers appear to be quickly recovering, the question remains: Where will spam volume top out in 2009? Will it be near the November 2008 level? The April 2008 level? Or higher?"

We are pleased that a leader in corporate governance like Intel has stepped forward and endorsed the Advisory Vote, putting it in place for this proxy season. Obtaining an Advisory Vote establishes a solid foundation for constructive dialogue with shareholders.
