There is another round in the ongoing saga of Jack Thompson and Take Two, makers of popular games such as the GTA series, and in this case Bully. There has been a restraining order filed that attempts to bar the sale of the game to minors. The motion is scheduled to be heard on October 11th, so stay tuned, we’ll keep you up to date.
The suit filed in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade County, Florida requests a temporary restraining order against the sale of Bully, a controversial new title from Rockstar Games (distributed by Take-Two) where the player controls a schoolyard bully. The mere announcement of the title had Thompson up in arms.
